Property Manager

The Role

Due to increased levels of business, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to work as part of an established team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management of a residential block portfolio
  • Overseeing day to day maintenance
  • Dealing with Leaseholder enquiries and issues
  • Assisting with service charge and ground rent calculations as well as management of budgets
  • Handling solicitor enquiries
  • Reviewing property insurance and dealing with claims
  • Regular site visits, ensuring buildings are managed in accordance with RICS Code of Practice
  • Holding AGMs and liaising with development Directors
  • Compliance with Section 20 legislation

You will already be an experienced Block Manager or Assistant Block Manager in the sector, as you will need to hit the ground running.

You must have:

  • A good knowledge of legislation relating to property and Block Management and in particular the RICs Residential Management Code of Practice
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Confident and able to work alone, as well as be part of a team.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • A willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • The successful applicant will ideally be IRPM qualified (or studying)

Trainee Property Manager

The Role

You will already be experienced in customer service, preferably in the property sector in a related area such as Residential Lettings.

You must have:

• A willingness to develop a good knowledge of legislation relating to property and Block Management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Confident and able to work alone, as well as be part of a team.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• A willingness to go the extra mile.
• Full UK driving license.
• The successful applicant will be willing to study for their IRPM (Institute of Residential Property Management) qualifications.

Admin Assistant

The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • This is both an administrative and a customer service job.
  • Helping out with general admin duties which will include, filing, proof reading, typing up letters, taking clients payments via telephone
  • You will also be responsible for the office’s external and internal post
  • Occasionally greeting clients and/or contractors if they visit our offices
  • Making refreshments when necessary for clients
  • Dealing with the company’s finances such as invoices
  • Answering the phone, taking and distributing phone messages efficiently and/or transferring calls to the relevant person in the office
  • Monitoring the general SPM voicemails and info mailbox
  • Labelling up keys where necessary and ensuring the keys are signed in and out if they are collected

• Confident and bright attitude
• Excellent phone manner
• IT literate, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good team player, but can also work independently
• Working to deadlines
• Must be able to work to the strictest confidence due to the nature of documents you may handle, and comply with the Data Protection Act
